Three new members join International Game Developers Association
The new lineup for the board of directors of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) was recently revealed. Joining the 10-man team will be designer and professor Brenda Brathwaite, consultant Mark DeLoura, and THQ/Big Huge Games studio manager Tim Train. Three new names were recently inducted into the International Game Developers Association’s (IGDA) board of directors. Joining the 10-man team will be designer and professor Brenda Brathwaite, consultant Mark DeLoura, and THQ/Big Huge Games studio manager Tim Train.
The three will join attorney Tom Buscaglia, who will be continuing to serve the board as its game attorney for the 2008 to 2009 term. Jennifer MacLean was named the chairperson, with Bob Bates appointed secretary and Tobi Saulnier as board treasurer.
The IGDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting video games and its place in the industry. One of its most popular contributions would have to be the hosting of the Game Developers Choice Awards held during the annual Game Developers Conference.
