Three new Stranglehold gameplay videos
The demo is out, and there’s no excuse for fans of John Woo films and Chow Yun-Fat not to try out Midway’s latest offering, Stranglehold (Xbox 360, PS3, PC). For those still trying to decide if it’s worth the time and space, some gameplay videos on Game Videos may help.
First up, Inspector Tequila enters a restaurant to plant a couple of guitars (yep, guitars) before wreaking some havoc. As promised, Stranglehold follows John Woo’s movies – they’re action packed, but that doesn’t mean there’ll be shooting all the time. Tequila sometimes takes a tame approach before going guns ablazing. Sometimes.
The new videos showcase everything Stranglehold has to offer. From overwhelming numbers of enemies coming at you, awesome moves straight from Asian action movie flicks, to destructible environments thanks to Massive D. Going through a small garage lot one moment, pulling off some crazy stunts in a Chinese garden the other – those make up Tequila’s daily routine.
