Three new Tekken 6 screens from PlayStation Premiere
Namco Bandai is putting on quite a show at the PlayStation Premiere shindig. As expected, it’s giving us new looks at projects in the running. This year, they’re led by the much-anticipated 3D fighter Tekken 6, and these screens tell quite a story.
Graphics connoisseurs have raved about the shading and sweat motion effects Namco has shown on previous peeks at the game, showcasing the visual processing capabilities of the Sony PlayStation 3. We won’t see glaring manifestations of that here, but these shots are pretty impressive in themselves.
Tekken 6 picks up where the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament left off and that’s where Heihachi Mishima goes missing and Jin wins the championship. He eventually gains control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, turns nations against each other and sets out to take over the planet. We wish him the best of luck.
