Thriller Night: UK Launch of Dead Rising
There comes a point in a person’s life when he’ll have an unexplained affection for zombies. Or that could also work the other way around: zombies might start liking him. Well, you can’t blame zombies for aiming for your jugular, now can you (their hands are forever stretched that way)? They like your brains, they like your forearms, and they want you to play Dead Rising.
So, when Lesley Smith was able to go to UK‘s launch party for Dead Rising last September 7 in a London club, we’re treated to a special video of how it went about. People all around dressed (and smelled?) like zombies, silently sneaking behind other journalists and giving the trademark moan of a braindead corpse. Others were wearing promotional shirts saying “I heart zombies & shopping.” It’s cool to be a zombie fan.
Then there’s the highlight of the evening: the special zombie dance prepared by some people. And when you hear “zombie dance,” what kind of dance are you picturing? The kind where zombies just grunt and spasm around on the dance floor? Nope. Watch the vid to find out! Surely you won’t be surprised… Mwahahahahaaaa! [cue lightning in background]
