Thrustmaster announced PSP WiFi key
Now like what Nintendo did (and so many other WiFi adapter makers out there,) Thrustmaster, the makers of accessory for gaming, announced a new WiFi USB key for the PSP called FunAccess. It is basically a WiFi adapter that plugs into the a USB port on any computer, granting you WiFi access virtually anywhere. FunAccess will require PSP firmware update 2.50 and higher, which in itself is a definite turn off.
To be able to use this, simply plug in the dongle (what a cool word) to a USB port and you’ll have an instant access point. The installation of FunAccess in the PC and configuring the PSP is easy due to a special friendly-user software which gives a step-by-step installation and configuring process. FunAccess can connect 5 players all at once. Thrustmaster plans to launch a site soon for their PSP division covering information, photos, screensaves, tips and tricks. They would launch the site around April 6th. The product is said to launch on May 2006 with a retail price of $39.99, firmware not included?
