Homebrew developer Art is back once again with the latest build to the multi-functional clock application for the PlayStation Portable, Time Baby. This current version’s main improvement is mainly cosmetic in nature, giving it a much more professional look compared to its previous releases.

Time Baby v15 now utilizes the Intrafont library by BenHur giving all the screens a sleeker look than ever before. Also, the MP3 player includes an instant playback feature for the last track copied to the Memory Stick, similar to the Nokia N95 phone.

As for the other new features included since the previous version of Time Baby, here’s the detailed list:

  • World Local Time feature now sets the PSP timezone thanks to SilverSpring for the sample registry code.
  • Implemented Intrafont by BenHur. The mp3 player subdisplay uses Intrafont for a large scrolling title display, and most of the program’s use of debug text is replaced with the PSP’s built in font.
  • Implemented mp3 player feature to instant play last track copied to the Memory Stick inspired by the Nokia N95 phone.
  • Implemented sliding bar feature for the START and SELECT buttons so the alarms are not accidentally activated.
  • Fix to prevent HOME button from exiting in plasma screensaver mode. HOME button is ignored like the other buttons.

Time Baby v15 was tested on custom firmware 3.52 M33 and was not intended to be compatible with the PSP Slim & Lite. For more information on the application and how to install it, check out the Readme.txt file included in the file bundle.
