Time Baby v4g
Homebrew coder Art just passed by the QJ.Net Forums to give us the latest version of his homebrew application, Time Baby, now upped to version 4g. For those who aren’t familiar with this app, Time Baby is a talking graphic alarm clock that also shows sunrise and sunset information, and has a moon phase display for those who may find it useful.
Art has made some changes to this nifty time-keeping application, partly to implement Adrahil’s PSP clock setting library, and also to issue a correction to his other Time Baby public releases. The previous versions of Art’s homebrew app weren’t released to the public, but he did send them out to those who asked him for them.
Now that’s out of the way, let’s see what other changes have been made for Time Baby version 4g:
- Fix to rolling numbers when changing to and from Sunset monitor mode, or PSP auto resumes from suspend.
- Animated Graphic Sunset can be seen in Sunset monitor mode (animation timing is not precise).
- One day adjustment to fine tune the Moon phase routine.
- Other small improvements.
The file Art has provided comes with a readme which you should go through first. Why? The installation guide’s in there, and there are more helpful details about Time Baby, too, so go check it out.
Oh, and Art tells us about a free treat for Time Baby users: “Save your settings when the time is 13:37, and the eboot icon will be rewritten to match your colour preference!” Enjoy!
