Shigeru Miyamoto - Image 1Like they say, once you’re at the top, there’s nowhere to go but down. In Shigeru Miyamoto‘s case, he went down quite a bit. After being at the top of Time 100 last year, the Nintendo gaming mastermind drops to #42 of Time Magazine‘s list of the 100 most influential people from various fields and industries. So who else made it to the list?

With a dominating vote count of 16,794,368, the unnamed founder of the community website 4chan, “moot,” takes the top spot. Coming at a very distant second is Malaysian Democratic icon, Anwar Ibrahim with 2,316,378 votes.

Other popular names on that list include Kobe Bryant at #9, Li’l Wayne at #12, Tina Fey at #15, and Pound-for-Pound champ Manny Pacquiao at #22. Barrack Obama is at #37, while Sarah Palin makes it to #81, which is funny because I seriously don’t believe she’s more influential than #89 Steve Jobs.

Shigure Miyamoto comes in at #42 with 614,641 votes, right below Disney pop princess Miley Cyrus at #41. Yes, Miley Cyrus is apparently more influential than Miyamoto. Funny as it sounds, it could be true, with all the exposure that Disney is giving “Hannah Montanna” who also has her own video game.

Who would you put at the top of your list?

**UPDATE**

If you read the first letters of #1-22, it says, “Marble Cake also The Game.”
The list was hacked, and thus, the list ain’t legit. We’ll keep you posted on the real list if it comes out.
