TimeShift Slow-Mo Showdown demo gameplay video
Messing around with time is fun. Not only does it give you an unfair edge on your opponents in a firefight – specifically slowing time down so that you can pretty much aim and fire at your leisure – but it also gives you a second chance to lob that grenade where it’d actually do some damage, instead of bouncing it off a wall and into yourself.
Timeshift, Sierra Entertainment‘s latest FPS for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC lets us do that in style, as seen in this demo gameplay video of the Xbox 360 version.
In this gameplay video, we see one of the game’s more time-exploitive features in action – specifically, turning back the events that have already occurred so you have a second shot at things, such as throwing a grenade. It’s loads of fun, as you see the damage done to the environment around you slowly get wiped out of existence, as if someone hit the ‘undo’ button – ready for you to wreak havoc upon a clean slate once more.
