Tin Man releasing adventure gamebooks for iPhone, iPod Touch this November
Adventure gamebooks seem to be gaining momentum in iPhone gaming. Only last week we heard from Ian Livingstone about an App Store outing for the classic Fighting Fantasy titles later this year, and now here comes Melbourne-based Tin Man Games with an announcement for some new fantasy adventure gamebooks for Apple devices.
Adventure gamebooks seem to be gaining momentum in iPhone gaming. Only last week we heard from Ian Livingstone about an App Store outing for the classic Fighting Fantasy titles later this year, and now here comes Melbourne-based Tin Man Games with an announcement for some new fantasy adventure gamebooks for Apple devices.
For starters, Tin Man plans to release three original adventures. Siege of the Necromancer and two other titles will kick things off this November, with three more gamebooks following soon after. Prices will be announced when the first three titles are released.
As with traditional gamebooks, dice rolling will play a large part in the adventure. Predictably, Tin Man is also going with the “shake your iPhone or iPod Touch to roll the dice” mechanic that Livingstone is planning for the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.
