TMNT Arcade leaking some ooze onto XBLA?
Rumors in a half-shell, and it’s not but mean and green. If these turn out to be true, then a bunch of us TMNT fans would be oozing over XBLA for the next couple of weeks in anticipation. 360style just got tipped-off with these screenshots with a simple note of: “TMNT Arcade is coming to XBLA arcade. It hasn’t been announced yet, and no release date is set, but it is currently in testing at Microsoft.“
Cowabunga. On top of the TMNT game that’s set to come out this March, this is just about as welcome as a dozen boxes of pizzas delivered right at our manhole doorstep. The pics say it all. It looks like we’re getting the classic 1989 arcade game, coupled in with leaderboards, achievements, and online multiplayer support from Konami and Ubisoft (weird huh?).
We’re notching this up on the rumor mill for now, with the sole reason that Konami, Ubisoft, and Microsoft haven’t said anything official yet. The pics look pretty easy enough for a kid to photoshop and piece together, but nonetheless, this is definitely worth following-up. Updates? You can bet on it. Channel 6 News reporter April O’Neil is on our side.
