It’s been a long while since we’ve heard from Midway Games‘ TNA: Impact for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii, and now we get an updated look at what could be one of the most intense titles this side of the gaming generation courtesy of a trailer direct from the Video Games Awards. Let’s sit back and watch as men in tight pants throw themselves at each other with the intent of causing grievous bodily harm.

What’s great about this video is that it shows off a more dynamic and realistic gameplay system than recent wrestling titles to date. The moves, while flashy, do look like they hurt, and we can’t help but be amazed at how they’ve gotten the animations down pat. We have to love the dropkick move, and how it can send your opponent flying out of the ring. Very, very awesome.
