Tokyo’s Silent Hill Shocking House
Oh dear, have those scary nurses invaded Tokyo? For those who have played the Silent Hill franchise and have seen the Hollywood film, these nurses and Pyramid head are the last thing you would want to encounter while you are walking down the streets of Tokyo! I guess game trauma is the last thing that Konami thought of when they opened the Silent Hill Shocking house in Kabuki-cho Shinjuku.
In commemoration for the release of the Hollywood film “Silent Hill” in Japan (and perhaps to create a buzz or the oncoming Silent Hill Origins for the PSP), Konami decided to bring some fear unto the hearts of shoppers in Kabuki-cho by building the Silent Hill Shocking House. The Shocking House is nothing but a haunted house showing you how it’s like when the lights are dim in Silent Hill. Inside the house, you will encounter these deadly nurses and Pyramid head. From June 22 until July 2, this Silent Hill Shocking House is free for people to explore. Although the house is free for everyone to enjoy, why would you place yourself in a scary situation? Nonetheless, for those open to scary things, this might just be a fun experience!
