Top Xbox Live Games of 2007 list revealed

The Top Xbox Live Games of 2007 list has been revealed, and we’re seeing some titles that we’ve already expected to make the cut. Bungie Studios‘ Halo 3 and Halo 2 take the top spots of the Top Xbox 360 Titles and Top Original Xbox Titles lists respectively. The 1989 TMNT Arcade game takes the top spot in the Xbox Live Arcade Titles list.

The results are in, and somehow we aren’t surprised to see some titles end up in the Top Xbox Live Games of 2007 list. Reigning above all games in the Top Xbox 360 Titles category is Bungie Studios‘ Halo 3 followed by Epic Games‘ Gears of War (Microsoft Xbox 360, Windows PC) and Infinity Ward‘s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC).

Taking the top three spots of the Top Xbox Live Arcade Titles are Ubisoft‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989 Arcade game, Team17 Software’s Worms, and Konami Digital’s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Bungie Studios and Microsoft Game Studios must also be happy as another game from the Halo series makes the top spot in the Top Original Xbox Titles category. Halo 2 is still number one, with Pandemic Studios’ Star Wars: Battlefront II and Valve Software’s Counter-Strike taking the the number two and three spots respectively.
