Tortuga, a port founded in 1492 by Europe shortly following Christopher Columbus‘ discovery of America. Tortuga, so named because of its resemblance to a tortoise shell, was a hotzone between the colonial superpowers of the time – Britain, France, and Spain – and was the focal point of the buccaneer era. End of history lesson.
Tortuga also happens to be the focal point of Tortuga: Two Treasures, set to come out in March. The game puts the player behind the helm of Thomas ‘HawkÂ’ Blythe, a 24-year-old pirate serving under the infamous Blackbeard, so expect plenty of cannon and sword battles, both on land and sea. And to give you an idea of what to expect when it makes landfall this March, here’s some game vids for downloading.
