Touring Thorin’s Hall in Lord of the Rings Online
The penchant among dwarves for the underground is a penchant for their life’s work of digging the riches of the earth from the earth (the Balrog of Moria does not count among the riches of the earth, by the way). Establishing their underground kingdoms is no more than the common sense of shortening the daily commute to a short walk from home. That said, these subterranean complexes impress, from the (sadly) brokedown palace of Moria we saw in the movie to this one, gameplay footage of Thorin’s Hall used by Turbine for this Lord of the Rings Online ad spot from GameTrailers.
This one not so brokedown as Moria after the orcs and Balrog are through with it. There’s life, there’s hearth, there’s polished marble, so we can presume that Thorin’s Hall could be either a starting city for Dwarven players, or a useful location to visit in the game.
