Trackmania for the DS announced, slated for Q4 2008

It looks like the rubber-burning videogame series known as TrackMania is heading to the DS. Nadeo and Firebrand have joined forces to bring about TrackMania DS, which will be released in Q4 2008.

Heads up, racing fans! We’ve just learned that Nadeo, the makers of the TrackMania series, and Firebrand, the developer of Race Driver: Create & Race, have joined forces to develop a TrackMania title for the DS!

The game, which appears to be called TrackMania DS, is scheduled for a Q4 2008 release, and will feature its own track editor, a staple of the Trackmania series.
