Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen gets official game, trailer

Oh don’t tell me you didn’t see this coming.

The Transformers sequel, Revenge of the Fallen, now has an official game with the same name, courtesy of Activision.

The Transformers sequel, Revenge of the Fallen, now has an official game with the same name, courtesy of Activision. And of course you know it’s gonna be multiplatform. Of couuurse it will. You name it. PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, DS, PSP, and even the PC.

You can play either Autobot or Decepticon in this one, and you’ll have a lot of options too. Activision says the game has “the largest, most diverse range of playable Transformers,” each “will pack specific abilities and weaponry.” Here’s a trailer:

But back to the matter at hand. The game will have different studios develop the different versions of the game. The DS version will have two separate titles, one for the Autobots, and one for the Decepticons, while the PSP version will apparently be an arcade title. And after you finish the game, your console will transform into an Autobot.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be released – you guessed it – the same time the movie will, on June 26.
