Transformers Roll Out on Xbox 360

The mechanical contortionist franchise known as the Transformers is joining the league of Xbox 360 game titles.  The new game from Activision is based on the upcoming live action Transformers movie (DreamWorks/Paramount) due this 4th of July.  “We are thrilled to work with Activision to bring the widely popular Transformers brand to the world of digital entertainment and introduce millions of consumers to our best-known Transformer and biggest hero of all time — Optimus Prime,” said franchise creator Hasbro.  The Autobots and the Decepticons have appeared on the PS2 (2004) and the Nintendo Entertainment System (1986).

A movie AND a game!  It’s like Christmas in July.
