Trauma Center: Second Opinion, which should launch with the Wii later this year, might just be a remake of the Nintendo DS title Trauma Center: Under the Knife. It’s not confirmed, but it’s not entirely out of the question. After all, the title of the game is Second Opinion, right?

A blog on Jeux-France is reporting that the game will follow the same storyline as the first game, for the most part. However, there will be new missions, new characters, and different twists in the story. Interestingly enough, the story won’t end where it did in the DS title, giving you an extended look at the world of Trauma Center. There will be enough new content in the game to keep the entire thing fresh for those who’ve mastered the original.
