Treasure open to making Sin and Punishment sequel for Wii
A sequel to the Nintendo 64 rail shooter Sin and Punishment could appear on the Nintendo Wii home video game console in the future. This according to the latest issue of Nintendo Power.
Forums member Superblatt posted the following quote from Treasure’s Masato Maegawa on the NeoGAF Forums:
When we were originally working on Sin and Punishment [for Virtual Console], there was some discussion utilizing Wii-like controls, and I think now that weÂ’re working more with the Wii, it is something we’d very much like to try.
While this is definitely good news for fans of the Nintendo 64 original, this statement pretty much confirms that the “secret Wii action title” Treasure is currently working on is not a Sin and Punishment sequel. The Virtual Console version of Sin and Punishment is already available on the Wii Shop Channel.
