Try it before buying it: Forza Motorsport 2 demo cars
You do know that the demo’s coming, but you don’t know which cars will be in the Forza Motorsport 2 garage when you get there. Turn 10‘s latest Pitpass announces some of the details of the coming Xbox Live demo.
First, the garage that comes with the demo should have “a handful of our favorite cars in the game” from the C, A, and R2 classes. The C and A class cars are as follows (Turn 10 won’t spoil the 8 R2 cars until later, the spoilsports…):
- 1997 BMW Motorsport M3 E36
- 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
- 2003 Dodge Viper SRT10
- 2003 Dodge SRT4
- 2004 Ferrari F430
- 2005 Ford GT
- 2005 Ford Mustang GT
- 2002 Honda Integra Type-R
- 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo
- 2006 Lexus IS350
- 2004 Mazda RX-8 Mazdaspeed
- 2005 Mercedes SLR
- 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z
- 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo (997)
- 2005 Subaru Legacy B4 2.0 GT
- 2005 TVR Sagaris
Happy to see the Porsche in there, wished the AE-86 Sprinter Trueno/1985 Toyota Corolla was tossed in. Central to the demo will be the driving experience through exhibition races with the AI, Turn 10 says – which means that this demo won’t come with the customization options, other than the ability to cycle through the manufacturer’s paint jobs for the C and A cars.
But it also means that the demo will support the Wireless Wheel, complete with force feedback. Sweet. Now if it came with three-screen support…
