Turn-based strategy game for iPhone and iPod Touch – Mecho Wars
Deveoper Luc Bernard has just provided new screenshots for his current project, the turn-based strategy game, Mecho Wars. Not Mecha Wars – it’s Mecho Wars. If you played the PC game, Eternity’s Child, then this would be the prequel to that. Apart from the screens, the poor guy also sends an apology to his ex through the gameplay video inside.

One of the more interesting features of this game is the element of time. With each hour, the clock advances, and the time of day would bring new twists to the environment. For instance, at night, it gets cold enough to freeze the water solid, allowing you to move your units on the new available surface. Although the graphics look sweet, Bernard does warn that it ain’t final yet, so it could still improve or the other way around – hopefully the former.
Now this vid starts at the middle, but you still get to catch the gameplay stuff. Starting at 0:00 at the seek bar would let you in on his public apology to his now ex-girlfriend.
