Turning Point: Fall of Liberty delayed until next year
Video game news website IGN reports that Codemasters‘ multiplatform alternate-history shooter Turning Point: Fall of Liberty (Games for Windows, PlayStation3, Xbox 360) has been pushed back to a 2008 release.
If you guys remember, Codemasters earlier sent ’round a press release announcing that Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, which was earlier slated for a November 2007 release, will be among the titles it will showcase at this year’s Games Convention at Leipzig. The press release noted that the Xbox 360 version of the game will be up on display.
IGN contacted Sam Cordier, Codemasters’ global communications manager, and got the following explanation:
In order for Turning Point to fully realise its epic vision, a further investment in the game’s development period is being made and the title is now scheduled to ship in early 2008.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is currently still under development at Spark Unlimited.
