This gaming channel can access Nickelodeon-themed games like SpongBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Tak and the Power of Juju; as well as other popular casual games including Black Jack, Poker, Sudoku, Bejeweled 2. In addition, DirecTV also entered into a long-term exclusive partnership with Mattel to develop a line of children’s games available exclusively for Game Lounge.

Game Loungue, described as another gaming platform, consists of several different categories including puzzle, word, card, educational and arcade style games that are based upon key consumer and entertainment brands. Through the company’s partnership with SkillJam, a multi-channel provider of skill-gaming technology and solutions, players will also be able to compete against other DirecTV subscribers for tokens, cash and prizes.

A standard DirecTV remote control is needed to be able to play in Game Loungue. Although no specialized equipment is required to access Game Loungue, DirecTV subscribers must have a special interactive receiver, and must play a monthly or play-per-day subscription. The all-access monthly subscription price of Game Lounge is US$ 5.95 per month with a play-per-day price of US$ 1.95.
