Two new screenshots of Hellgate: London
London‘s gone to hell – literally – and it’s up to you and your like-minded friends to take it back from the clutches of the various creepies and crawlies infesting the city in this massive MMORPG adventure from Flagship Studios, Hellgate: London. We get you two juicy bits of eye candy from the game that looks so scary, it may very well give horror classics such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil a run for their money.
In this screenshot update, we see two of the baddies you’ll be going up against in the mist-enshrouded streets of London. The first one looks to be a giant monster made out of scales, muscles and a lot of teeth – although, he may not really be all that big, as the perspective’s so that it looks like he’s dwarfing the buildings in the background. Still, size doesn’t matter here, as he’s clearly set to eating the ill-fated player’s head for a snack. Better take that suit of armor back, mate – it’s not going to do much good against a debilitating lack of noggin.
The second screenshot’s a bit more disturbing – it’s a somewhat-humanoid critter this time, with a screaming human face, a misshapen body and cloven feet. Not to mention that the environment it’s in sort of looks like the land down under – the land WAY down under, if you catch yours truly’s drift. As it is, we’re glad the player’s more than well-equipped to handle the threat – just check out his gun and see if you can figure out where the business end is. We can’t say for sure ourselves, but the sparkly lights on it tells us that it’s going to wreak some serious damage if discharged.
Certainly a very cool (and very disturbing) update for Hellgate: London. Updates as we get them, so enjoy the eye candy!
