Ubidays 2008 is in full swing, and they’re not pulling any punches at the event. Ubisoft has revealed a bunch of details regarding Tom Clancy’s Endwar (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360).
If you’ve been keeping up with information about the game, then you probably know that one of its main features is voice commands.
Ubisoft’s demonstration showed that everything in the game can be done using voice commands. It seems to be working well as the devs showed when they ordered entire squads with voice commands.
It was also revealed that Tom Clancy’s EndWar will have some crossover with the Tom Clancy’s HAWX (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) universe as well. Apparently, players can request support from units in HAWX. Hey, if that means that I can call upon Typhoon support when I’m in a jam then I’m all for it!
Both games are expected to hit before the year is done with Endwar slated for September and HAWX for Autumn. We can’t help but wonder if Ubisoft has struck gold once again with these games. Oh well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
