Ubisoft bringing Far Cry 2 to PS3, 360

Good news, FPS fans. Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 2, the sequel to Crytek‘s 2004 title Far Cry, will also be seeing action on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 home video game consoles. More at the full article.

It seems PC gamers won’t be the only ones getting the sequel to Crytek‘s Far Cry. Ubisoft has just announced that Far Cry 2 will be heading for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 home video game consoles as well.

Ubisoft, who acquired the Far Cry license back in 2006, has not yet given any additional details for the game apart from the stuff they’ve revealed about the PC version. The release is still hazy, although the company did throw gamers a teeny tiny bone with a nebulous fiscal 2008-2009 release date.
