Ubisoft Officially Announces Assassin’s Creed For Xbox 360 Along with a Few Screens
There has been plenty of speculation over the last few months over whether or not Assassin’s Creed would be making it onto the 360 and today Ubisoft is finally clearing up the confusion as they have officially announced that the game will be coming to the Xbox 360 after all. The game will be launching on both the PS3 and the 360 at the same time as well which is great news for 360 owners who do not want to give up 600 dollars just to play Ubisoft‘s upcoming action game.
For those of you out there that haven’t heard much news about the game it will be set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history. Ubisoft also released two screenshots of the 360 version which you can check out by clicking on the thumbnails above.
