Ubisoft readying Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 for Wii, DS

It was bound to happen. According to N-Europe, NGamer Magazine has a piece confirming Ubisoft‘s follow up to their hit title Rayman Raving Rabbids for Nintendo‘s Wii video game console.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 will reportedly provide a more detailed background on the Rabbids. It will contain a narrative focusing on “their training for world domination in their top-secret camp situated under a shopping centre”. This is the camp that Rayman infiltrates, leading to more mini games and more spastic pointing and waving around of the Wiimote.

Details are still scarce and there’s been no word on a release date, but word is that the sequel will be for both the Wii and the Nintendo DS. The graphics have also reportedly been given an overhaul, looking more polished this time around.
