UK chart toppers: Final Fantasy XII and Crackdown

Final Fantasy XII - Image 1 Final Fantasy XII (PS2 exclusive) hit Europe‘s stores last February 23 and rushed up the charts. (Who said the PS2 was dying?) It gobbled up one large piece of sales, taking 53.5% of all PS2 titles sales last week.

Plus, it’s become the fastest selling title in the FF series from Square Enix. Anyway, Crackdown (Xbox360 exclusive) took the number two spot in the All Formats race. Since this is Europe we’re talking about, football – soccer to you and me – titles, FIFA 07 and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 are still kicking at number 3 and 4 respectively.

Last week’s number two, Need for Speed: Carbon runs out of NOS as it drops to number five – right new to another EA title, The Sims: Pets. Blitz Games’ Bad Boys II makes a surprise debut at seven. Completing the list is The Sims 2, Sega‘s Mega Drive Collection, and lastly, Super Mario Bros.
