Ultima Online: Ricardo’s prison attack was unsuccessful
Remember a few months back when we first told you about Ricardo’s trial in Ultima Online? And how a few eyebrows were raised because Casca of Heartwood has been appointed to preside over the notorious thief and war instigator’s trial? Well now we have just heard news that BNN has recently reported that the attack on Ricardo’s prison transport was unsuccessful.
In addition to this recent news, Jamos, Ricardo’s legal counsel, has also been arrested after being proven to have a hand in the transport attack. And as reported earlier, Ricardo’s trial at the Court of Truth in Yew is still pushing through. But because of Ricardo’s known talent and knack for escape artistry, he will now be placed in a “special cage” constructed outside the court where he’ll await his trial. Visitors are highly discouraged from approaching this cage as Ricardo’s still considered dangerous even when behind wrought iron bars.
Pre-trial motions have also been made following Jamos’ arrest, with Beauregard of Trinsic now replacing his former post as defense counsel. All the Ultima Online users and the rest of the game citizenry can do right now is await Justice Edgar’s announcement of the formal trial date, as well as his conclusion of the pre-trial motions. For those who don’t know, Justice Edgar will be the Investigating Magistrate for Ricardo’s case. We will be following the case’s developments closely so stay tuned.
