Ultimate Block Party Sequel Announced
Known as Kollon in Japan, Ultimate Block Party was a puzzler for the PSP that was second down from Lumines. Being released in December of 2005 it was a huge hit in Japan more so than it was here in the states.
The sequel will have the same rules but will have four main modes. Single player practice mode, tutorial mode, a campaign mode and a new wireless multiplayer mode for up to two players, which is a deal to the Japanese because they didn’t get a multiplayer mode in the original. Cyber Front, the developer of the series, said that they will also increase the play size so it is easier to see the action. Ultimate Block Party 2, or Koro Koro Kollon as it’s called in Japan, will be released in Japan on June 22nd. A US version has not yet been announced.
