UMD Drive Door Adjustment
Some people have noticed that their PSPs’ UMD slots only partially close on one side. This is just a minor irritation. Personally, I’m not bothered by it. But then again, some units may have more evident misalignment problem than the others.
djzander over at the QJ forum has posted a little trick to fix this problem. It seems that the little bugger that’s causing this minor irritation is a screw (marked on the pic). Taking it out enables your UMD slot to close almost perfectly. Of course, it’s going to void your warranty (just thought we’d remind you).
The screw, though, is obviously there to hold some parts together, so anyone who’s thinking about giving this a try better think long and hard. You might end up with more than just a voided warranty on your hands…
