Unable to loot a WoW item? Let the Master Looter do it

WoW Karazhan loot issue - Image 1It was just yesterday when we talked about how a handful of World of Warcraft (WoW) players are missing the good ol’ days of Molten core. In the expansion The Burning Crusade, Karazhan is being considered as the “new Molten core” but players feel like the area is simply not worth a good day’s raid.

Over at WoW‘s official community site, there’s a player complaining about a loot issue that took place in Karazhan. According to the player, the game crashed just when he was about to gather the loot he earned during the raid.

So what happened was guild master picked up the loot for him and they both submitted a ticket to Blizzard. However, according to forum moderator Vrakthris, the loot can not be awarded to him because it has already been picked up even just for evidential purposes.

The Blizzard employee explained:

If you are eligible for an item and you are unable to loot it, it is best to leave the item on the corpse and have the Master Looter petition in. If it is later found that you were ineligible for the item (you died and released, were not in the instance at the time) the Master Looter can decide who the item should go to otherwise it would most likely be given to you.

Oh well. What more can we say but better luck next time.
