Uncharted 2 patch disables game modes, Naughty Dog assures fix soon
Naughty Dog released Title Update 1.08 for Uncharted 2 recently. That’s all fine and dandy if not for the glitch that it coincidentally disables two game modes.
Naughty Dog released Title Update 1.08 for Uncharted 2 recently. That’s all fine and dandy if not for the glitch that it coincidentally disables two game modes.
The modes affected are The Lab and Double cash. Don’t worry so much, though. Naughty Dog is on top of things and has announced via Twitter that they are in fact already working at a solution.
“We’reaware of the 1.08 Title Update disables “The Lab” and double cash. We’re working on it so those of you with TU1.08 can still play.”
Later on, Naughty Dog followed this up with another tweet explaining the limitation of this bug:
“@Cregan4584 It should only be available in Europe and was not planned to be available at that time. We’ll publish notes as soon as we can.”
So there, we’ll keep you posted as soon as the patch comes out. This bug, as mentioned above, is apparently limited to PAL regions only, so you from other regions should have no problems. If you’re in Europe however and have not updated yet, your game is also safe from this bug.
