Friday, October 23rd will be a big day for PlayStation Home as it marks the arrival of three spaces dedicated to three major titles of the year: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Street Fighter IV, and Tekken 6. For now, let’s take a look at the goodies that we’ll be expecting when the update hits.
For Uncharted 2, the space will be a Nepalese village constructed with assets taken straight out of the game to get that cool in-game effect. There’s the usual in-space mini-game, a leaderboard for players, and all sorts of Uncharted 2 content. Here’s Home director Jack Buser to tell you all about it.
For those who prefer to kick ass with bare knuckles instead of Nathan Drake‘s guns, two major fighting games will also be putting up their own spaces on Friday – Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6. Their respective spaces will be packed full of content from the games, while visitors can hang out and set-up game-launching tournaments or simply meet other players. Oh, and by the way, 25 Street Fighter IV costumes will be available at the Mall by tomorrow.
Speaking tomorrow, you highrollers might want to check out the Penthouse personal space then as well.
But before all that, you’ll need to update your Home clients to version 1.32 to fix all the problems that you may have been experiencing since 1.3.
