In a recent interview with Evan Wells, co-president of Naughty Dogs, he gives more details about the demo for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune coming this November 8 and also implied that a future Jak and Daxter would land on the PlayStation 3.
The demo for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will contain the first part of the fourth chapter (a sizable 1.2 GB chunk of the game). It will have about 20 minutes worth of gameplay (unless you play it again and again). It will have several combat sequences and will have full access to all three difficulty modes of the game.
Wells also expressed how he continues to be impressed with the hardware and performance of the PlayStation 3. He adds that the studio would love to work on Jak and Daxter again on the PS3 with what they’ve learned from making Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. While it was perhaps inevitable that the franchise would land on the console, it’s still nice to get confirmation.
