Here’s some good news for Unreal Tournament 3 fans who want to set up their own gaming hubs for personal use. Over on the Epic Games forums, WarTourist has announced that Unreal Tournament 3’s dedicated server package for Windows is now available for download.
The (approximately) 1.7 GB file allows you to turn an extra computer into a dedicated server for Unreal Tournament 3.
WarTourist notes one known issue for the download, however. Apparently, the install will not exit if you have Windows firewall enabled. WarTourist continues, “Disabling the firewall, or ending the install process when it hangs, both work and the installation will have completed successfully.”
In any case, you can check out the source link below for a list of places to download the dedicated server package. Enjoy your game!
