Unzip Plugin – iR Shell [Update – Standalone Version]

His most recent contribution is the long-awaited and highly demanded unzipping program. This program is built as a plugin for ir shell v1.5 and only works on firmware 1.50. the program is very simple, and having it built-in to one of the best psp shells out there, it makes it very convenient. i myself use ir shell as my shell choice and i will now be using this plugin often to save space! at the current time you can only unzip .zip files (no support for password protected or encrypted .zip files). the developer would like to mention that it is not a “finished” release, so do not expect it to be working with every .zip file you have (most do work). here’s the simple installation procedure from anonymoustipster –

1. extract to: x:/irshell/extapp/app4 (or app1,2,3)
2. open irshell configurator and scroll to ‘filename suffix for external plugin #4 (or #1,#2,#3)
3. click x and type in zip
4. save changes in configurator
5. scroll to a .zip file and click on it, which should run the plugin

anonymoustipster released the highly demanded stand-alone version of this unzip plugin. now, all you 2.0+ users can unzip your .zip files as well without ir shell. although, this version requires you to manually enter the .zip file’s location and thus, takes longer to accomplish than the ir shell plugin. you can now download the standalone version below the plugin version –
