Update: Camelot Is Staying With Nintendo
Earlier today, we reported that the Japanese videogame developer Camelot Software Planning is parting ways with Nintendo to concentrate on its new online golf game called I Love Golf. The news broke the hearts of fans who were clamoring for another Golden Sun game on Wii or DS.
Well, fans of the RPG can heave a collective sigh of relief as according to some sources, Camelot Software isn’t leaving Nintendo. They are simply expanding onto the PC platform. And to ‘unbreak’ your aching hearts, a Wii RPG is said to be in the works. Surely, Camelot just can’t leave Nintendo – not without giving us a next-gen incarnation of the Golden Sun…well, at least that’s what we hope will happen. The game’s much too good to be left dusting in the same corner where your GameBoy Advance is.
Camelot is also the company behind Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GBA), Mario Power Tennis and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour on GameCube.
