Update for Celestial Tournament rules

Guild Wars - teh hotness! - Image 1If you’re planning to take part in the Guild Wars Celestial Tournament, then you better check out these new updates to the tournament rules. Up to ten guild members – eight participants and two alternates – can now take part in the tournament.

Since the Celestial Tournament take place over a two-month period instead of in a single multiple-hour period, it could prove difficult for the same eight players to be available every round, hence the changes to the rules. The number or prizes awarded per team is still limited to eight, though, so tournament leaders have the responsibility to inform ArenaNet which eight members of their tournament rosters receive the prizes.

The Guild Wars Celestial Tournament Swiss rounds will start on February 16 at 19:00 GMT, so if you haven’t sent in your Tournament Roster to ArenaNet yet (deadline’s 19:00 GMT February 14), you better get cracking.
