*UPDATE* Legend of Zelda – Quest of Link Teaser Trailer

UPDATE: We were having a few issues with the video code. Please note the video that was on this article before is wrong and for a moment we cannot put the video on the site. No worries, though, the video has been fixed and the one you see right now is correct. We offer our sincerest apologies to Zion for this mix-up and anybody else who may have been affected. You can enjoy how great this trailer really is!

Zion, an avid RPG fan and PSP coder has today posted a teaser trailer for his upcoming homebrew game, presumably coded in Lua titled Legend of Zelda – Quest of Link. In case you’ve forgotten, let’s take a trip back to September 2006. Zion released his second installment of his Linkens Quest homebrew game which received loads of jumps and great comments and had over 3500 downloads! This game has been described by Zion as the “spiritual successor” to Linkens Quest.

It hasn’t been finished yet, so this is very much a small snippet of what you can expect to see in the final version. We’re quite sure that Legend of Zelda and RPG fans will probably start salivating at the sight of this homebrew game. It might look professionally-made, but as the spelling mistake in the opening screen – Zion Productions Presenets – suggests, this is all the work of one coder and a video creator (thanks PSPDemon!). Zion says the aim is to make this a 5+ hour game, so playability and a deep storyline is a necessity. Here’s what Zion said about the game:

This game isn’t anywhere near finished, and everything contained in it could change in future versions, what is done though is done well , and while it may not be a lot, it shows the promise this game has.

Would you like to continue the quest? We’ll have to wait and see…
