*UPDATE* PS3 version of GTA IV missing in Rockstar Games’ website
There have been several rumors in the past about Microsoft Corporation’s “plans” to acquire Take-Two Interactive. These talks began after reports that the said publisher is having financial problems. On the other hand, Microsoft commented that it doesn’t want to buy independent publishers because it would result in a massive revenue loss for MS.
We’re not saying anything here, but we found an interesting bit over at Rockstar Games’ official support page. The support page, for the curious bunch out there, is where the developer provides its community with patches, video game tips, warranty info, and whatnot. Now, there’s a section of the said page dedicated to all of Rockstar’s titles for specific help.
Everything is listed there – from The Warriors, Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver, and of course, the Grand Theft Auto series. Each title is further broken down to its platform of origin. To our amazement, GTA IV for Xbox 360 is listed but the PlayStation 3 (PS3) section is missing. We even took a snapshot of the image for you to see.
It could have been a slip up, it could be a clue. We’re not really certain. We are just reporting what we saw. Care to give us your two cents’ worth?
UPDATE: We headed back to Rockstar Games’ official support page and found out that the above mentioned instance has already been fixed. It is now clear that what just transpired was a glitch or a bug on Rockstar’s site. Good thing the developer noticed the same immediately as we don’t want that to cause any confusion.
