More on Riot Zone after the jump!
Slobber-knocker. Whenever we think of fighting games, the word “slobber-knocker” comes readily to mind, just to describe the feeling one gets when you’re kicked in the face.
If you want more face-kicking action, then you’ll just have to wait for Monday, because that’s when Hudson Soft‘s Riot Zone will be released on the Wii’s virtual console service. According to the official Hudson Soft virtual console site, it’ll be released on January 14 for 800 Wii Points.
For those who haven’t heard of it, Riot Zone is a side-scrolling, beat ’em up action game that puts you in the shoes of Hawk and Tony. Here’s the product description, according to Hudson Soft:
Candy, the girlfriend of New York City police officer Hawk, has been kidnapped by the criminal syndicate, the “Dragon Zone”. They have warned Hawk to stay away. Hawk teams up with his buddy, Tony, to rescue her and destroy the Dragon Zone. Join them as they break into the enemies HQ, the “Japonesque Garden”.
