UT PSP Beta 1

Muchos kudos to bumuckl for informing us about his latest homebrew game release, UT PSP Beta 1. According to bumuckl, UT PSP was inspired by CS Combined Assault, which gave him the idea of making a port of Unreal Tournament for PSP.

Here are a few notes and comments from bumuckl:

So I modified the Quake-Engine a lil bit and made my own UT PSP. It’s very funny. But the Graphics is bad because of the Quake Engine that only supports 8-Bit Colors. Two Weapons are still CS-Style, because the Loading-Times of the Game are very long and if I had made my own models for this two Weapons, the Loading-Times would have been very very very long.

bumuckl also says that this is just a beta so don’t be pissed if you find that the multiplayer doesn’t work yet because more improvements will definitely be added in future releases. An important note though, bumuckl says that “YOU CANT PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT THE “PAK1”. AND “PAK1” IS MISSING. YOU HAVE TO BUY IT. OR YOU USE THE “PAK1″ OF CS COMBINED ASSAULT.” Not to worry though, you can get the PAK1 from CS Combined Assault right here.

Some members of the homebrew community are saying that UT PSP actually looks like it’s 50% Quake, 30% Unreal Tournament, and 20% Counter Strike. But that’s them. So why don’t you check out the game and let us know what you think, yes?
