Valhalla Knights goes to North America
You might remember us mentioning that Valhalla Knights made a showing during TGS 2006. Well we found word that XSEED Games acquired North American publishing rights for the game. Personally, I can only say one word: Woot.
Just so you know, here are some of the more notable features of this action RPG for your PSP.
- Customizable characters – Players can select from five races (human, dwarf, halfling, elf, machine) and eight different job classes (Fighter, Mage, Priest, Thief, Knight, Samurai, Ninja, Anchor).
- Complete quests, recruit new party members and upgrade your equipment… standard RPG fare. We hear that there’s a big selection of weapons, armors, as well as accessories, and they also become visible on the in-game models when equipped. And that’s something not so standard, especially coming from a Japanese RPG.
- Real-time battles that allow the player to do a balance act controlling the six party members. Want to switch from your Mage to a Samurai in the middle of a battle? We hear you can do so in this game.
- 2-Player Co-op Mode – We’re talking about 30 co-op missions exclusive to the multi-player mode.
- 2-Player Versus Mode
Want you can check out how this game looks like? We got screens and a trailer for you here. The title is scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2007.
