Although Sega‘s Valkyria Chronicles did not become a monster-hit RPG PS3 title despite the positive reception of the critics, the game’s producer nonetheless expressed interest in producing a sequel to it.
In an interview with Famitsu, Nonaka Ryutaro said that he was ecstatic with the way the game was embraced by the Japanese public. Apart from that, he’s also looking forward to the debut of the anime, as this, according to him, is a good means to further develop the IP.
Ryutaro also is said to be “very adamant” about not leaving the game at just one title. Still, this does not necessarily mean that the sequel will actually happen. In the meantime, though, you can catch the three new DLC packs coming on April 16.
