Vampire Story renamed Vampire World, screenshots
Some changes are in the offing for Mayhem Studios’ Vampire Story. In fact, it’s a pretty big change, since it concerns the title’s, er, title itself.
In order to avoid confusion (and a possible lawsuit, perhaps?), Mayhem Studios announced recently that they will be changing the title of their upcoming fangtasy (see what I did there?) game to Vampire World. Apparently, there’s already a game called A Vampyre Story from another game development company, hence the name change.
In other Vampire Sto – er, Vampire World news, Mayhem Studios reports that the project is nearing completion. The company has also signed a distribution contract with Game Factory Interactive, LTD covering the Russian mutation of the game. Negotiations with other publishers are taking place and the publishers for individual territories will be known sometime this month.
Vampire World will be released worldwide in Summer 2007. For now, check out the spiffy new screenshots we have below.
