VC Australia: OFLC clears Castlevania II, Columns III, and Power Golf

OFLC clears Castlevania II, Columns III, and Power Golf - Image 1Wondering what’s in store for Australia‘s Wii retro-gaming scene in the near future? We’ve just picked word that the country’s Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC)  has recently cleared three more pickings for the console’s Virtual Console shop: Columns III: Revenge of Columns (Sega), Power Golf (Hudson Soft), and Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest (Konami).

Konami’s latest addition to Australia’s VC will have you adventuring as the whip-slinging Simon Belmont, as he goes off on another adventures to cure a curse bestowed upon him by Dracula upon the conclusion of the first Castlevania game. For the more cranial players, the Columns III arcade puzzle title should keep you occupied, unless you prefer a round over the greens via Hudson Soft’s Power Golf originally for the  TurboGrafx-16 console.

Keep in touch in case all three games make their eventual appearance over in the region’s VC selection.
